Making an adventure map is pretty hard knowing you have to make sure everything is correct. My brother and I are making one right now and it might get posted soon with a resource pack on 1.8.Make sure your lobby room is neat and good looking,give your map a story and make sure its well orginized.
Its harder than you think but give it your best try.
