Aight, imma take this server review thing for a spin. We'll be looking at the Zen Network today, specifically the PokeZen sub-server.

I'll be judging this server, along with all others, with 4 categories:
- Function (does everything work properly?)
- Design (what looks good, and what doesn't?)
- Appeal (is the server fun? What makes it fun?)
- Difficulty (how hard is the server?)
I'll be scoring them from 1-5 each, with the overall score being an average of the 4 categories' scores. Also, this is MY OPINION. Opinions exist people.

Anyways, server review thingimajig... go!

Zen Network: PokeZen

Function:
Everything works as expected; there aren't any glitches or exploits. Kinda hard to have an opinion on if something works or not.
Score: 5

Design:
One of the gyms is absolutely STUNNING. Like honestly, I've never seen a Pokemon gym look as good as that one. Besides that, it's what you'd expect from a small server (with the exception of the gym). All builds are above average in my books. There are a few mistakes when it comes to block placement, such as unexpected hidden cubes and some blocks missing. Also I'm not a huge fan of having fossil machines in someplace unexpected in spawn, and I'm even less of a fan of those machines being exposed for everyone to interact with. I'm surprised that this server is just one of 4 in a server network, considering how many people play on it (not a lot).
Score: 4

Appeal:
Pixelmon hunts are a thing here, and they're what you expect; catch a pixelmon of that species, you get boosted IVs; get the right nature, and you get extra rewards as well, all on a time limit. All the gyms here are NPC controlled, which, for a small server, makes sense. Hopefully they move on from that if they grow larger. I would like for them to add some more interesting features in the future. Maybe tournaments? I don't know.
Score: 3

Difficulty:
You start off with a level 10 shiny starter, which some people might think is a nice boost. However, all NPC gym trainers are bosses, ranging from Uncommon to Ultimate (usually reserved for gym leaders), meaning that you're going to have a tough time with every one of them.
Score: 3

Overall:
This server has a lot of promise, and granted it delivers on a lot of it considering its size. I'd say this server's pretty good. The difficulty always staying consistent (no difficulty curve whatsoever), sort of stale features (standard Pixelmon hunt without any alterations (still pretty fun though)), and inconsistencies throughout, however, prevent it from being great. I still like their ambition though of this just being one server in a network. That's pretty cool.
Overall score: 3.75

Thanks! It's going to be a little while before my next one, but I'll make sure to do another!
