[OLD] ZombieHorde.net Has Died :'(

The End for a Legendary Co-op Server


A favorite and beloved zombie slaying co-op server has been shut down about a month ago. Thousands have enjoyed killing the endless hordes of zombies to rank up and obtain better kits (I know I did).


The object of the game was simple: pick a map, choose one of your unlocked kits, then survive the relentless horde with random players or friends. There was also a unique party system that players can group up in before a match. There were 8 maps for normal players to choose from and additional maps that VIP players can play. Many visitors liked the map Cold Dead Horde, a small snowy map.

The reason that ZombieHorde.net shut down because of recent server traffic. Hardly any users were joining the server for the past months before ZombieHorde shut down. Due to their budget reasons, the ZombieHorde team could no longer support the 24/7 server. One of the server owners said in chat a few weeks before the server shut down, "We are sorry that we must shut down, but we hope to come back some day." (not direct quote)

I, and I'm sure many of you who read this, will miss that wonderful server. I really hope that they will make a comeback, but until they do, watch out for the undead hordes!

The server is up and going and they are constantly working on it. It is subject to down times due to maintenance so please be patient if you can't join right away.

Bro I literally made an account right now just to ask you if the server still exists because as of 1/19/2019, it's not there when I type in the ID Zombiehorde.net Pls respond as I want to relive glorious memories.

Yes, the server still exists. It went down due to the unstable coding it was built on, and the lack of funding. However, over the next 6 months Zombie Horde is going to be completely re-written and fixed (will still have the OG feel) and we will be able to reopen with more features, and maps and more! Hello, this server was the best in the old time! i was number one 3 mounth in raw! I favorite class was blood sucker and i was V.I.P. I'm suprised when i checked your server out, Looks so amazing! i just wanna ask, who to get my vip rank back? you can see in this video it is me my minecraft name is: ellervis

Admins on the server said i DON'T get my rank back... omg.... they said i should buy it again.... Why that.... Please help me :( look on the video. :)

I'm not sure why as that is a legit video and the names match up. Only your PMC name doesn't match. It's possible that there was a deadline for veteran players to get their rank back. I do not know when or if there was.

Personally I think it is more fun to earn and unlock the different ranks and kits.
I hope this inconvenience doesn't ruin your experience on the server.

Hello, sorry for the really late reply. Decided i might do it anyways. The new Zhorde is unable to give ranks back as the ranks are different. Different names, perks, kits, ect ect. Plus, the money that was donated was never given to the new zhorde, so naturally the perks won't be given.

OMG YOU HAVE TO READ THIS:

Recently I was scrolling through minecraft server lists and I found a new zhorde! That's right It's the exact same thing except with a few new maps. I think its really fun and you guys should totally go check it out at: http://zhorde.org. I've already had tons of fun on it and plus it has a small community and the admins are really nice there. I've seen nothing but positive things from this server aside from not getting your old ranks back (I was mod on the old one I feel your pain). So basically, It's a fun server, nice community and tons of ZOMBIES!!! Hopefully you guys will read this and consider joining because it's really fun.
