Wood Elves: Tan or brown skinned, sometimes with an orange hue; any color hair but commonly red and brown, sometimes blonde, black, or dyed green. Any color eyes, but commonly green and blue, and sometimes amber and brown. Red is rare.

High Elves: Pale or yellow-ish skinned; white, blonde, or silvery hair, sometimes red or light brown. Never black. Light colored eyes such as blue, green or gray. Never red, orange, or brown.

Dark elves: Gray skinned in varying hues; white, silver or black hair, sometimes red or dyed blue or purple. Any color eyes, most commonly red and purple, sometimes black. Rarely, if ever, brown.

If a skin doesn't match any of these, such as being pale skinned with dark, it is probably a mixed-breed or hybrid.
