hello i am back and alive i think
this time with another terraria inspired datapack

[1.19] Repositioning Torches Minecraft Data Pack
the name "repositioning torches" probably sounds confusing (it definitely would to me)
it's basically what terraria does with torches when breaking a block and it automatically places it on a wall

[1.19] Repositioning Torches Minecraft Data Pack
not really sure how to explain it in text so here's a video

very cool video

hope that explains it

there's also settings!!!!!! yes!!!! decided to finally add configuration!!! very cool
just run /function repos_torch:settings and you should be met with a very fancy settings menu
literally everything is configurable
you can even make the entire datapack useless if you want

yea not much else to say
no cool looking images this time :(

[1.19] Repositioning Torches Minecraft Data Pack
is that a question at this point
ofc
yes please do

oh yea!!! forgot to mention
i'll try to backport this to older versions
datapacks suck so if a single block or item doesn't exist in the version the whole pack could stop functioning!!
CreditReLogic for this simple yet very cool feature

it's mostly that i have other things i want to do other than datapacks. i've sort of moved on from minecraft as a whole and as a result datapacks are just not my main focus right now.
there's also a lot of issues with my datapacks that would require a lot of time and dedication to fix which, again, i would much rather put in other things i currently enjoy more.
that said, i will still update the current ones, it's just going to take longer. i do plan on doing so in the very near future, but please be patient in the meantime.

I can throw in a couple of dollars as a token of gratitude, if you don't mind :)

I found a serious bug with buttons. If you start breaking a wooden button, it turns into a stone one, please fix it!
