No Ghast Grief V.3
No blocks griefing, still damage entities
From Minecraft 1.17 to 1.21.1

What is No Ghast Grief?

This is my shot among very popular no-mob-grief-like data packs you can find on the web.
Difference with this one is that fireballs shot by ghasts will still damage entities upon impact, but won't break blocks anymore.
Most of other data packs just completely cancel fireballs explosions.

Find the download links and the whole documentation on the Modrinth page!

That's already done, the data pack is still under review on Modrinth, it should come very soon!

Disabling Endermen's griefing just require to empty the tag of blocks they can pick.

Any anti-endermen-grief data pack already does it, it would be pointless to recreate exactly the same, as this is both the most optimized and only strategy you can use to prevent them to break/place blocks.

Does this work on summon-ed fireballs?

Hi, the data pack checks if the fire ball has a Ghast for origin.

If you want to make it works with summoned fireballs, you can summon a fireball having both the necessary tag and the marker mount that is used to track the landing point:

summon fireball ~ ~ ~ {ExplosionPower:0b,Tags:["pk.no_gh.pacified"],Passengers:[{id:"minecraft:marker",Tags:["pk.no_gh.controller"]}]}
