AUTOMATED VILLAGER CRAFTING - 1.18.2
What does the datapack do?
Automated Villager Crafting (AVC) add an auto crafting mechanic to vanilla Minecraft. It allows you to assign villagers as "Crafters" and let's you assign them a specific item you want them to make. Every 1.18.2 Crafting recipe is supported, as long as it can be made in a crafting table or grid. A crafter villager with a recipe set will keep making it's recipe for as long as it has a crafting table and enough resources to do so.
This datapack does not add complicated new crafting recipes to the game, nor custom blocks needed to make it work. Every item you will need is already in the vanilla game! It simply adds a new "profession" to the game which any villager (even nitwits) can use as long as they have a crafting table adjacent to them.
More details on how exactly this works can be found in the manual book in game or the video added to this page.
How do I install this datapack?
There are many easy to follow tuturials on youtube and even here on PMC that you can follow should you want a step by step guide.
The short version is: Download the datapack's zip file from this page. Do NOT unzip it. Put it inside your world saves'datapacks folder. Join the world and type "/reload" in chat if the welcome message does not show up right away. And voila! Datapack installed!
