Welcome to Beasts & Monsters, my largest datapack to date! Based and inspired by the Witcher franchise, folklore and fantasy, this datapack adds a plethora of content to Minecraft's overworld. From weak ghouls to immensely strong end-game vampires, the datapack features new enemies and items for every step in the player's journey. There are also a few new structures to be explored as well as a new raid event. In total, 32 mobs of which 6 are bosses. 80 items, both gear and loot. 23 advancements to guide the player along the way. 7 structures and finally a custom block used for almost all crafting.
To get started with Beasts & Monsters, craft the two guides, the Artifice and the Bestiary, and a witching table. The recipes for these are as follows:

An underground structure containing coffins with the dead. A good source of silver if you can get past the ghouls lurking in the shadows. Don't disturb the bone pile. Spawns rarely everywhere in the overworld.
A remnant from a lost and forgotten time. The only known place you can free a Djinn from its prison, but don't expect it to be happy. Spawns uncommonly in mountain regions.
A small hut functioning as the homestead of some Goblins. The inhabitants are calmer and more willingly to trade diamonds for gear than the ones found in caves. Found rarely/uncommonly in taiga biomes.
A stone structure found in the forests. Druids use it for all kinds of mystic rituals. Find one of these and burn an ancient seed to summon a Leshen. Spawns uncommonly in dark forests.
A small log cabin found anywhere in the world. This is the home of the trapper, who trades monster loot. Spawns rarely in the overworld.
The homestead and treasury of a Troll. Be careful of its guardian if you wish to take the troll hoard for yourself. Spawns rarely everywhere in the overworld.
A structure reminiscent of a bird's nest, only much larger. The only known hatching places of the Wyvern's rarer and deadlier cousin, the Royal Wyvern. Spawns uncommonly in mountain regions.

Harmful woodland spirits that inhabit the old growth pine and taiga forests. Controls roots that can entangle and impale anyone who tread to close.
Royal Wyvern

A rarer and more dangerous variant of the wyvern. It is tougher and stronger than its kin and has the ability to spew venom.
Structures:
Crypt
An underground structure containing coffins with the dead. A good source of silver if you can get past the ghouls lurking in the shadows. Don't disturb the bone pile. Spawns rarely everywhere in the overworld.
Elven Tower
A remnant from a lost and forgotten time. The only known place you can free a Djinn from its prison, but don't expect it to be happy. Spawns uncommonly in mountain regions.
Goblin Hut
A small hut functioning as the homestead of some Goblins. The inhabitants are calmer and more willingly to trade diamonds for gear than the ones found in caves. Found rarely/uncommonly in taiga biomes.
Ritual Altar
A stone structure found in the forests. Druids use it for all kinds of mystic rituals. Find one of these and burn an ancient seed to summon a Leshen. Spawns uncommonly in dark forests.
Trapper House
A small log cabin found anywhere in the world. This is the home of the trapper, who trades monster loot. Spawns rarely in the overworld.
Troll Cave
The homestead and treasury of a Troll. Be careful of its guardian if you wish to take the troll hoard for yourself. Spawns rarely everywhere in the overworld.
Wyvern Nest
A structure reminiscent of a bird's nest, only much larger. The only known hatching places of the Wyvern's rarer and deadlier cousin, the Royal Wyvern. Spawns uncommonly in mountain regions.
