    Smelt your Diamond items in a Blast Furnace to reclaim diamonds!

    Vanilla lets us smelt gold, iron, and chainmail items to reclaim gold & iron nuggets. Now you can smelt down your diamond items too!

    This datapack allows smelting of diamond armors, tools, & weapons in the Blast Furnace!
    Note: can only be done in the Blast Furnace, not regular Furnaces or Smokers

    Fuel Consumption:
    Default fuel consumption: 8 items per coal

    Smelting tips:

    - use auto-smelter setup to feed items in & out with hoppers

    - use short fuel sources that aren't wasted after single items (example in photos: saplings)

    Great in 1.20+ Updates by repurposing your Diamond Gear and getting your diamonds for copying armor trim & upgrade templates!

    - Diamond Axe
    - Diamond Hoe
    - Diamond Pickaxe
    - Diamond Sword
    - Diamond Horse Armor
    - Diamond Boots
    - Diamond Chestplate
    - Diamond Helmet
    - Diamond Leggings

    *Diamond Shovel smelting removed in 1.20 & 1.21 versions.

    *Diamond Shovel smelting added back in 1.21.4 version because I'm tired of collecting shovels. <- this is the version of download on this page.

    Added shovels back into the smelting recipes.

    If you don't want shovels to be perpetual diamond machines, the version without them is on my Ko-Fi for 1.21.4

    can u make shovel smelting avaiable in 1.20?

    I left it out in the update to correct the balance of the pack a bit. Allowing shovel smelting means you lose zero diamonds & can infinitely keep re-making your shovels without losing anything but the sticks.
