Overview-
This datapack adds in hammers and sieves. Hammers allow you to break down certain blocks into other blocks or dust. Sieves allow you to sieve blocks or dusts to get resources such as ores. This datapack works in 1.16+ and requires a resource pack to use, which is included in the .zip file you download.
Breakdown Bench-
The breakdown bench is the crafting bench that is used to make hammers, sieves, and craft anything in this datapack. To get one throw 8 stone and 1 crafting table onto the ground.
Hammers-
To craft a hammer you need 3 sticks (2 for Netherite) and 2 of the material you want to use for the hammer. Netherite hammers require 2 diamonds aswell as 1 netherite ingot. To use a hammer just mine a block and it will be broken down.
The blocks that can be broken down are-
- Cobblestone to gravel
- Gravel to sand
- Soul soil to soul sand
- Netherrack to netherrack dust
- End stone to end stone dust
- Polished blocks to their non polished material (ex Polished andesite to andesite)
- Bricks to their cracked variant (ex Stone bricks to cracked stone bricks)

I like that it adds the ability to utilize all the cobblestone and netherrack you tend
to mine on your way to beat the ender dragon.
Another bonus, it has me hyped for the coming caves and cliffs update.
As the sifting station has me thinking of the excavation sites planned for 1.17.
Great work!
