    Fishing trophies! Haven't you ever wanted to get collectibles from fishing, exploring every end of your Minecraft world to acquire the rarest of items? This datapack does exactly that without manipulating vanilla loot tables at all! How does it work?


    -Every time you fish, you get a 10% chance to reel up a fishing trophy!

    -There are 3 rarities of fishing trophy:

    COMMON, UNCOMMON, RARE
    - There are several items that will only ever be fished up when fulfilling certain conditions! For example, you can only get the Ruby Geode uncommon item when fishing in 1.17's deep zone.

    I tried this in 1.17 but it seems not to work. I tried to catch over 50 fish but not even a trophy. It appears that the data pack does not activate. I placed it in the data pack folder and then reloaded the world. I don't know if I'm wrong or if something is wrong.

    Can u make it so every Rare (legendary) trophies give a special effect when holding in off hand? This would make fishing more fun to explore. Btw good Datapack.

    Thanks for the feedback mexz! I do like the idea but this pack is purely cosmetic. Maybe a future pack can have accessories that grant special abilities!

    Ah that's because this is a 1.17 snapshot datapack. One of the fishing trophies can only be acquired with the new cavegen.

    Hey, so Idk too much about colorblindness but I've changed the colors to be only gray and yellow. Does that help? Sorry about the late reply, and thanks for pointing this out for me!
