    This is a medium-sized datapack adding new combat content. This includes 8 new craftable pieces of gear as well as 3 treasure-only weapons with one unique enchantment each. It also includes 6 normal and 1 hidden new advancements to go along. The unused status effects Luck and Bad Luck have in addition been replaced with new combat related effects, Disorientation and Shattered. All custom items can be found in the combat_additions loot folder.

    This blunt weapon deals medium damage with a medium attack speed and is capable of inflicting Disorientation I-II on struck opponents with a critical hit. Deals much more damage to Skeletons. Can be crafted with every vanilla crafting material except netherite. The netherite version can only be found in Bastion treasures. Sword enchantments are applicable.     This weapon excels at puncturing armor and deals high damage with a slow attack speed. Critical hits on armored opponents inflicts Shattered II, which lowers the armor of the struck opponents by 4 points. Can be crafted with every vanilla crafting material except netherite. The netherite version can only be found in Bastion treasures. Sword enchantments are applicable.


    		Sickle
    This weapon is useful in close quarters and deals low damage with a high attack speed. Hitting opponents with this weapon deals no knockback, but can also drag enemies towards the user when enchanted with Knockback I or II. Great if you want to hold your foes close when fighting them. The netherite version can only be found in Bastion treasures. Sword enchantments are applicable.


    		Greatsword
    A giant sword that deals high damage with a medium attack speed. The normal sword sweeping effect is greatly enhanced, allowing the wielder to fight multiple opponents with ease. Applying Sweeping Edge takes this ability even further. Can be crafted with every vanilla crafting material except netherite. The netherite version can only be found in Bastion treasures. Sword enchantments are applicable.

    Halberd
    A polearm that deals high damage with a slow attack speed. Has the ability to incapacitate shields much like a smaller axe, but also inflicts Shattered I on struck opponents with a critical hit. Can be crafted with every vanilla crafting material except netherite. The netherite version can only be found in Bastion treasures. Axe enchantments are applicable.

    Bomb
    A simple explosive that deals damage ranging from very high to low. The explosion itself has a range of 6 meters, with the maximum damage being dealt within 2 meters. Right-Click to throw the bomb that has a fuse time of 3 seconds. Very useful against hordes of weaker opponents. They also don't damage any blocks.


    		Longbow
    A heavy bow useful at larger distances than a normal one. Arrows shot from the longbow start off dealing 80% of the regular bow damage, but then slowly increase in damage over range to a maximum of 150% damage. Drawing this bow also makes you walk much more slowly, making it a more stationary weapon. Bow enchantments are applicable.


    		Buckler
    A smaller more skill dependant shield then the regular one. If a opponents blow is deflected within half a second of holding up the shield, the wielder gains a small Strength bonus for 2 seconds. If the blow comes after this window of opportunity, the wielder is punished with Weakness for the same amount of time. Shield enchantments are applicable.


    		Lance
    A devastating weapon when wielded from horseback. Deals damage depending on the Horse's speed ranging from huge to very high with a slow attack speed. Striking opponents from horseback also applies Disorientation II on them. Can only be found in Dungeon chests and Weaponsmith chests in villages. Rarely comes with the enchantment Unstoppable. Sword enchantments are applicable.


    		Partisan
    A polearm that deals medium damage with a medium attack speed. Has the ability to thrust at enemies from further away than a normal attack, 5 blocks to be exact. This ability is activated by right-clicking and gives the user an attack speed penalty for 2 seconds. Can only be found in Dungeon chests and Weaponsmith chests in villages. Is also compatible with Mending and Unbreaking, and can rarely be found with the enchantment Ghost Thrust and normal sword damage enchantments.


    Musket
    A very powerful ranged weapon that deals extreme damage but takes a while to reload. Has vastly superior range to Crossbows, allowing the wielder to fight opponents from very long distances. Can only be found in Buried Treasures and Shipwreck chests. Is also compatible with all Crossbow enchantments except Quick Charge, and can rarely be found with the enchantment Rifled. Is loaded with Musket Charges by sneaking and holding the Musket.


    		Musket Charge
    The ammunition for the Musket.


    		New Enchantments
    - Unstoppable (Lance): Horse and rider is protected from almost all Arrow attacks when charging.
    - Ghost Thrust (Partisan): Allows thrust attack to go through multiple enemies and blocks.
    - Rifled (Musket): Greatly increases base range of the Musket, making it more effective for extreme distance shots. Is incompatible with Piercing and Multishot.



    		New Status Effects
    - Shattering (Halberd & Warhammer): Removes 2 points of armor per level for 30 seconds.
    - Disorientation (Mace & Lance): Reduces the speed of opponents by 25% per level for 3 seconds. Also reduces attack speed by 0.5 per level for 3 seconds.

    I've been having some problems with the pack, it seems like enchantments and upgrading to netherite don't really work as expected. When I enchant something with sharpness for example, the damage number stays the same (even tho it does deal a bit more damage) But not only that, when I upgrade to netherite the damage stays the same as diamond. For example, a Netherite greatsword that I found in the nether deals 9.5 damage, but one I crafted deals 8.5 (same as diamond) And this is last one is not only visual, it does deal less damage.

    i got a cool idea for this datapack
    you should be able to attach bayonets on the end of the musket (in case you are being chased and have no time to reload you can hit them and maybe it would have some knockback)

    things like the greatsword and the halberd don't work if something is in your off-hand because they are two handed weapons.

    I uploaded the datapack to my server. If I activate it now, I get all the items from this datapack permanently added to the inventory - every player by the way - no idea if it's a bug or not
