True End - Endgame Progression Overhauled Minecraft Data Pack


This pack aims to increase the time it takes to beat the game by changing how you progress the game.


Progression

The first change you might notice is that eyes of ender are no longer craftable in the early game, instead you gain eyes by completing certain advancements. Eyes can also be duplicated with chorus fruit and blaze powder once you get to the end.


FEATURES

- You will spawn 3000 blocks away from the main end island
- Elytras will be at zero durability when found
- Eyes of Ender can only be destroyed in the void and despawning
- Eyes of Ender are obtainable from completing certain tasks and can be duplicated with chorus fruit and blaze powder
- Thrown Eyes of Ender will go straight into your inventory
- Respawn anchors are now usable in the end
- Giant phantoms roam the space between the main end island and the outer end islands
- Main and Leave gateways appear after defeating the dragon, allowing you to teleport from the main end island to the end spawn
- Main and Leave gateways have eternal beacons
- Ender chests now drop eyes of ender

I went into the end and I don't know what direction to go to the end island (from the small end islands) lol. I want to use this datapack but don't know how to get to the ender dragon island (not even in creative mode lol) lol, I want to use this for a server so please help me out learn how I can reach the end island from the small end islands :) DinoDesmond

Great datapack! I love it and it works great with the linked ones! My only complaint is there is no tutorial on how to get ender eyes.

Hey real quick question. What advancements specifically grant you eyes of ender? I could only find 3 so far. One from angering the warden, and the other two from defeating the evoker and elder guardian.

Killing an enderman, summoning a wither, finding a fortress, creating a beacon, finding a bastion, finding a stronghold, getting ancient debris, getting hero of the village, and getting diamonds all give you an ender eye. Glad to see someone using the data pack!

Some of these aren't working is the issue, i've tested them out and killing some mobs work, but everything else doesn't. The End spawn change + Phantoms thing does work though, which is good. Can't craft eyes of ender which works as intended, from what i can tell it's just granting people the Eyes which doesn't work.

I see, I’ll have a look and fix it. Also, if it’s in multiplayer and someone got an eye one way, no one can get it the same way again

you know what that explains so much rn. I'm using this in an SMP with friends and mutuals and all that, one person would get an eye, another person would get another but no one would be able to craft them which limits ender chests present in the world.



Any chance of making a multiplayer compatibility or would that be more trouble than it's worth?

Well, the only way to get ender chests is to get to the end so you can use chorus fruit to duplicate the eyes, but I can update it so that you can just use enderpearls if you want!
