Introducing: Minespenser!

Features:

- Put tools into Dispensers to mine the block it's facing!
  • If multiple tools are used, tool is randomly selected when the Dispenser is fired.
  • Supports all mining tools, and the Brush!
- Balanced Dispenser Mining:
  • Harder blocks needs better tools to be quickly mined.
    Weaker tools often fail at mining hard blocks.
  • Mining takes more durability than usual.
  • Blocks won't drop items if the tool isn't correct.
    How blocks drop items is the same as if you're manually mining.
- Supports Enchantments:
  • Enchantments work as if used for normal mining!
    Efficiency only works if the right tool is used, though.
  • Dispensers can’t use EXP, so Mending won't work.
    You can feed it lots of tools with Hoppers so I doubt this would ever be useful.
- Works with Modified Block Drops!
  • If you have new blocks added by mods:
  • The system tries to adapt block drops to match your world as closely as possible!
- Faster Dispenser Crafting!
  • I've added a shortcut recipe to help you make Dispensers from Droppers!
  • Saves you tons of time crafting at the same cost!
    (Well, unless you're using damaged bows, I guess)

I'll make it happen, but do note that it'll probably take a while.
The changes brought by 1.21 has broadened the definitions of what's considered a tool by quite a lot, and Minespenser has to account for all of that. You'll find the latest updates over on Discord.

on a 1.20.4 server it keeps sending these command messages and i dont want them, how to fix it

Anyways, as for the comment: By default Minespenser already disables commandBlockOutput at launch, so something is probably turning it on all the time for one reason or another, which isn't what Minespenser is doing.

I downloaded the Datapack and draged the zip file into my datapacks folder and if i check ingame it shows on the list of datapacks but idk why it only drops the item instead of mioning the block. i loved the idea because you can make nice farms out of it but if it cant even mine a single cobblestone block with a given iron pickaxe... idk whats wrong with the datapack but maby you have some clue?

this just simply does not work on my minecraft smp. i placed a cobblestone down and a dispenser, put a pickaxe in it, and pressed the button and it just fired the pickaxe out.

Have you read the installation notes for this one?
Installing it is a bit more involved in servers than in singleplayer worlds.
If you have and it still doesn't work, drop me a #send-help thread in the Discord Server and I'll help ya out.
