Have you ever felt like Single-Player Hardcore Minecraft was just too lonely, but loathe the idea of playing with other human beings?
Maybe you need a new challenge in your life, or you just find yourself waxing nostalgic for the days of yore, when escort missions were beautiful things that nobody ever complained about ever especially not in Resident Evil 4?

Well BOY, OH BOY do I have a datapack for you! This baby adds tons of features, including:

- An escort!

On world creation (or the first time loading the world after the datapack has been installed), a Wandering Trader with the fabulous name "Mr. Objective" will spawn at your location. Mr. Objective is a needy merchant, and will follow you until his bitter end. Even when he gets distracted, moving more than five blocks from your location is enough to trigger his need for attention, and he'll come running back to you.

If Mr. Objective ever dies or becomes unloaded, life becomes... Well, just plain not worth living. That's the end of your Hardcore run, as mystical powers force you into an early grave. (Luckily, the game should keep him loaded long enough after entering a portal that you can follow behind him - just make sure that he goes first!)

When Mr. Objective takes damage, the game will alert you so that you can run to his aid. It also graciously warns you every five seconds if you are ever more than 32 blocks away - that way you can return to your friend for lots of good times!

Mr. Objective has a tendency to frighten himself invisible at night or in other dimensions, but thanks to the power of friendship, he'll put off a radiant aura when he's invisible so that you can always find him!

You can consider the game "MISSION COMPLETE" after beating the Ender Dragon, whereupon you can grab her egg, and give it to Mr. Objective as a token of your bond - he'll even give you a special emerald in return!



KNOWN ISSUES:
- It's easy enough to trap Mr. Objective at world spawn so that he can't follow you, and then simply move far enough away that no hostile mobs can spawn near him. I could probably find a way to close that particular loophole, but I've spent far too long on this dumb idea already. Just don't do it - it defeats the purpose!
