Emotes Datapack!

Description

This datapack adds in animated emotes which you can unlock with XP levels. This doesn't need a resource pack and is quite optimised. Once you install the datapack, all players will be able to start unlocking the emotes. Currently, there are only 6 emotes, but many more will come in the future.

Emotes List:
Wave Emote (Level 5) - A simple emote which can be used for a greeting or to say bye!
Point Emote (Level 10) - Point your hand forwards!
Big Wave Emote (Level 15) - Wave with both your hands for more attention!
Clap Emote (Level 20) - Give a round of applause with this clapping emote!
Nod Head Emote (Level 30) - Nod your head in agreement
Shake Head Emote (Level 30) - Shake your head in disagreement!

Obtaining

To obtain/unlock the emotes, you will have to gain XP levels. Once you meet the amount of XP you need to unlock the emote, you will get a message in chat. You can unlock 6 emotes in total, levels are in the above section.

If you are an operator, you can give players the emotes.unlock.all tag to give them access to all the emotes.

Using the emotes

Once you have unlocked an emote, you can then use it. To do this, run in chat /trigger emote (not emote.action). This will bring up the emote selection menu. This menu shows you which emotes you have unlocked, and what levels you need to get to unlock other ones. Each emote has control buttons:

[​GIVE] - This will give you the emote as an item. You can hold the item and press F (move it to offhand) to play the emote. If you try and drop the item, it will remove it.
[​PLAY] - This simply plays the emote. (What else would it do?)

When you play an emote, it is advised to go into F5 mode so you can see yourself. A model will spawn at your location and will play the emote. Your inventory will be cleared for a better experience, but all your items will be given back to you at the end. If you move away from the model while it is playing, the animation will end as normal.

Most emotes have a cool down, to prevent you spamming them. If you play it too soon, a message is sent in chat telling you how long you have left on the cool-down.
