This is my Enhanced Tools datapack. The original goal of this pack was to have a set of 1-command-block creations that you could store in your creative mode inventory. Using these saved inventory libararies in the dafault game, once you create these command blocks in a world, you can save them into your creative mode hotbar and essentially bring the datapack with you in your hotbar wherever you go!
In the end, that limitation ended up being...too limiting. By breaking free from the shackles of command blocks, I was able to create things I never thought would be possible in Minecraft, especially without any mods!

First of these is a point-and-click teleporter. Just point your mouse in the direction you want, click, and it instantly "blinks" you to the block you were looking at, regardless of how far away it is.
Next up is a similar idea, except using a lightning wand. Wherever you look, it casts a lightning bolt onto that block or entity, regardless of distance. This isn't another one of those cheap fake lightning wands that just uses a command block to summon a lightning bolt 20 blocks in front of you. This uses advanced ray-casting techniques to scan a line directly in front of your line-of-sight to an infinte distance.
The other main feature of the pack is the Warp Drive engine, or Jet Pack. Now this one actually CAN be used straight from the chest/command blocks from your inventory and brought into any world without needing to install the datapack. The idea behind this was that normal flying in creative or spectator mode was just too slow. This item uses the same ray-casting techniques to determine the exact angle the player is looking at, then summons a pair of lightning-charged creepers behind them at their respective positions. By summoning a pair of creepers, one on either side, it allows for far greater stability mid-flight, tighter turn radius, faster turn-around times, and overall greater acuracy to direction.
Finally, my personal favorite of the pack; The Shard of Entropy Cannon. This also uses advanced ray-casting (which means this tool also requires the datapack, you can't just bring the command blocks into another world through the saved creative mode inventories for this one unfortunately). This is just what it sounds like; a high-powered laser cannon that absolutely DESTROYS anything in it's path. This will carve a hole straight through a mountain, all the way down to bedrock, and then some. This can technically go infinte distance, but it would cause a tremendous amount of lag. Because of this, I limited the range on this tool to 256 blocks. However, this can be changed by navigating through the folders ~
datapacks ~ enhanced_tools ~ data ~ tools ~ functions ~ target.mcfunction
You will need to open target.mcfunction with something like Notepad++ to edit it. Once you do, on the bottom line where it says "distance=..255", change the 255 to any number of meters/blocks you would like.
