Made for singleplayer and LAN worlds, might not work on servers.
This pack adds 4 seasons, each with its own extreme weather.
Seasons last 8 days, matching with the lunar cycle.
Spring:
-Flooding: heavy rainfall floods caves, basements, and low regions with water. This will not dry up until a summer heatwave.
-Spring Growth: all plants shoot up quickly, and trees spontaneously generate everywhere.
Summer:
-Heatwave: Water dries up, grass catches on fire, and short grass dies.
Fall:
-Tornado: A giant floaty dusty thing that picks you up and drops you. Kills animals but won't destroy your builds.
Winter:
-Blizzard: It snows, no matter what biome you're in. Water freezes into ice.
Extreme weather doesn't happen every day, but there's about a 50% chance it will.
I also added commands so that you can change the seasons and weather manually.
Example: /function legit_mcweather:set_blizzard
/function legit_mcweather:season_summer

2. Summer winds: The player and other mobs will be pushed around a bit, and jumping will have slow falling. Flying mobs are blown all over like crazy, and the higher you are, the more you are pushed around. If you fly, be prepared to reach stunning hights!
3 Fall spooky surprise: Phantoms and other monsters are found all over, and the sun is obscured to let them roam! On the upside, giant pumpkins will spawn in with good loot like gold blocks to hunt for. Once the event is over, it all vanishes!
Winter magic: Allays are to be found, along with snow golems roaming all over. Building a snow golem may give special rewards, and taming an allay on that day just takes a shard. Note that snow golems might be built by endermen and allays too! Allays disperse unless tamed by spring.
These are more rare than normal events and have more rewards to be found. I also have seasons for the nether and ideas for underground seasons, like moss madness, where lush berries overgrow everything and even the deep dark stops wailing for a day!
