Far End Version 2.0.3 - Extreme Optimization Update! : by Hex -now loading- 09/25/2021 8:43:40 pmSep 25th, 2021
Minecraft 1.17.1
Hello!
Sorry for taking so long to deliver this version of Far End, which significantly improves the optimization of the end, removing every error and over spawning mobs. The performance is way better in this version. Thank you to Starmute for pointing out worldgen errors and XanderStuff for providing detailed feedback regarding the mob count and performance drop by the mob path finding. Also thank you to those of you who were waiting for this update. It is now server-friendly!
Optimization
- Fix the set block error message in all Far End biomes.
- Adjusted the mob count in every biome.
What comes next?
Now that I have fixed mostly everything that dropped the performance of the Far End, I am going to focus on adding structures and mobs to each biomes (unless something major emerges that drops the performance again). I will also be changing the advancement system to quest-based system which will overall have more advancements than the DNL (maybe in the Malice of the End update) and rewards you for seeking deeper into the world of Far End!

So regarding my questions, I also found FokaStudio's end expansion and he is claiming that that is an updated and more expanded version of this pack, but do I need this pack to be able to play Fokas one?
Furthermore, I found out that Starmute made one to, Nullscape. Is this pack or the one from Foka compatible with it or can I only use one of the 2?
Thanks in advance for your answer and for making these amazing data packs!
also, I am playing with your DNL structures datapack, so is it compatible with this too?
"also, I am playing with your DNL structures datapack, so is it compatible with this too?" Yes. Any overworld or nether structure datapack will work fine with this.
