    Hello! I'm Focal. I've created a Datapack for Backpack system.
    Crafting
    First, You need craft a Advanced Crafting Table.

    Then watch recipes in the advancements pages.

    How to Use Backpack.

    When right click with the backpack in your main hand, it will toggle between your inventory and the backpack.

    The backpack's description will show the remaining space.
    I know I'm making this too complicated, but you can download it and try it out for yourself.

    Because the data structure change, please take out your items in backpack before you update.

    Update:
      Rewrite Datapack structure
      Stop compatible 1.20.6 and lower versions
      Add Advanced Crafting Table
      Backpack no longer craft at Crafting Table
      You can change backpack color
      Change backpack lore format
      Remove Basic Backpack
      Improve notification when use backpack
