Gift Givers


Hello everyone! Merry xmas! In the festive spirit, here is a gift to you all, a datapack that adds gifts to vanilla Minecraft!

How it works

When you craft a gift, you of course want to put items in it! You do this by placing the gift down, and then dropping the item on top of it. Now, picking it back up. This is done by breaking it while holding shift! If you break it without holding shift, it drops the item inside!

Colors

The gifts come in 256 different color variations! Every gift has a primary and a secondairy color, resulting in a lot of options 👀

Crafting

How do you craft the gifts? As an example the datapack icon gift would be crafted with this recipe:



If you want to have one with different colors, the green dye would be replaced with the secondairy color, and the red dye replaced with the primary color.
