New food items have been added so you don't have to kill your happy animals to make use of them for food. Milk can be cooked into cheese, eggs can be boiled, and happy pigs dig up truffles occasionally (details about cooking milk and eggs in the Animal Husbandry book). In addition to that, wool is now an alternative to leather for leather armor and item frames, and Wood blocks can be used instead of leather to craft books.

There is a guide book that is given to the player once they tame an animal, or breed two animals, for the first time (or the next time after this data pack is installed). This guide can also be created by renaming a book "Husbandry" in an anvil.

With this data pack installed animals that don't already have a healing item can be healed by feeding them their breeding item(s).

A config option for whether pigs can dig up truffles can be changed by editing the config file in the data pack at data/happy_animals/functions/config.mcfunction.

This data pack is compatible with my Balanced Diet, and Hunger Removal, datapacks. Config options for poison thresholds for the new food items are also present in the config file for this data pack.
