Say no more!
Introducing: Haste potions!
For the cost of:
1 Awkward Potion
1 Coal
You get in return:
HASTE
(for a short duration, of course)
Haste potions work just like any other potion. You drink it, and you get the effects. They last the same amount of time as vanilla potions. You can also add glowstone or redstone to make them more effective!

How to obtain
Simply place a cauldron over a campfire (see image for reference) and fill it with water, then drop 1 awkward potion and 1 coal into the cauldron.
You'll hear a boiling sound if everything goes right.
Unlike brewing stand potions, you can only get 1 haste potion at a time per brew.
You can either use the potion as is OR make it stronger or last longer!
Dropping a haste potion and glowstone dust into the cauldron (if it has water) gets you a Haste 2 potion which allows you to insta-mine stone blocks with an Efficiency V diamond/netherite pickaxe but the effect has a shorter duration.
Meanwhile if you use redstone dust instead of glowstone dust, you'll make it last longer instead which can have its uses if you're not planning to clear out large chunks of stone.
No, glowstone dust and redstone dust cannot be combined together to make a Haste 2 potion that lasts longer.
