I tried it in 1.17 I think it would work in 1.17.1 I wanted to use the custom durability with it but, it doesn't work in 1.17.

I use the new nbt tag in json strings to combine multiple nbt strings together. You can only really do this 2 ways; using signs or using loot tables. Signs are easier, but they take up a space in the world. Loot tables are a bit more work to set up but they're much "cleaner".

Alright. I've been messing around and kinda thought it was something like that. I've modified the code and am trying to use it to make some scoreboard objectives to prefixes by combining the score tag to the loot table. I just can't find a way to combine strings without json. You know anyway to do that?

Unfortunately, there's currently no way to combine strings without json. I'd personally love for this to be a feature in vanilla minecraft, but sadly it's not possible atm. Hopefully some sort of scripting will be available in the future for java edition that would make this possible.
