Jack's Lantern

An evil spell has cursed Minecraft! The night never ends, beds don't work, pumpkins spawn everywhere, and worst of all, haunted Jack-o-lanterns.

Looking at any pumpkin or jack-o-lanterns may spawn Jack's Lantern, an enormous hulk of gore-fueled gourd. Kill them to receive diamonds, golden apples, Daylight Draughts — which advance time and may end the endless nights — and Antilanterns, which slowly extinguish the cursed Lanterns while in the off-hand but may randomly disappear at any time.

End the night, and your world will become far more peaceful!
