This datapack will make you have limited lives. With it, you can't just waste your lives. So, if any player loses all their lives, everyone die, so the survival world is gone. But there are two features that will make you survival easier.
1. Hostile and some neutral mobs drop lives with 5% chance (the mob must be killed by a player, a wolf or an iron golem, otherwise the life won't drop; the Looting enchantment doesn't affect life drop chance).
2. Players can donate their lives to each other. For example, if player A wants to donate their life to player B, the player B must kill player A, so the life will drop from the killed player. (if a player dies for another reason like zombie or lava, it won't drop life, thus the life will be lost.)
So, as soon as a player joins the world, they get the certain count of lives depended on the game difficulty.
– Peaceful: 20 lives
– Easy: 10 lives
– Normal: 5 lives
– Hard: 1 life
