Heycha! Yori/Astra here! And I'm releasing my second datapack! This is a total of 134 blocks to match my resource pack I've been working on but it won't be released here. It will be elsewhere. Now!
Blocks!65 Stone blocks with White lightlines
65 Quartz blocks with White lightlines (these are pure white so you'll need to enable PBR to see what the lines are >.>)
4 Tron symbol blocks
All of the first two are 64x, the Tron Symbol is 512x
Items!Flynn's and Castor's Curtains which twinkle! From TRON: Legacy.
A screen that acts a bit like Tron's from TRON: Uprising!
Both items are 1024x
These blocks are fully PBR'd so they shine and glow with that only. The stone block is as close to the grid building's colour as I could get. The quartz are pure white. I may do off white but that's up for debate.
Now how to install the Resource Pack:1. You MUST extract these files, do it with the setting of HERE. Do NOT extract to a folder with the same name of the zip file! It won't work.
2. Take that folder and cut and paste or drag and drop it into your resourcepacks folder in minecraft, if you extracted it inside your resourcepacks folder, you don't need to do this step.
For Windows users this folder is reachable via this method:In the run menu, type %appdata%
Enter the Roaming folder
Enter the .minecraft folder
Drop the resource pack into "resourcepacks"
For Mac users this folder is located here:~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks
How to install the Datapack:
For Mac Users:Put the datapacks into ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/(The folder of your preferred world)/datapacks
Type "/reload" ingame
For Windows Users:In the run menu, type %appdata%
Enter the Roaming folder
Enter the .minecraft folder
Drop the datapacks into saves/(The folder for your preferred world)/datapacks
Type "/reload" ingame
How to get the blocks:Type in
/function custom_blocksYou should get a huge list :D
ALWAYS go for the
give command!
You can break them like normal blocks and get a new one :D The items just disappear though.
Now! The fun part!
If you guys like this, you can ask me to do other colours! And tell me if they should be in their own packs, or this one, because doing all 12 colours would mean over 1200 blocks! :O
Here are the colours to choose from: Dark Blue, Gray, Green, Lime Green, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, and Yellow.
Hope you enjoy Programs! ;D
Also: Sorry for the lack of images, I only just completed this pack today so I never got the chance to build anything with it.
NOTE: These blocks are merely for show and not to be generated as normal blocks within the world! They use an item frame which will lag your world if you try it! Just give yourself the blocks you need and build, it'll be fine that way :D
For a more detailed description of what I'm using it's this specific BSL shader, not the latest one (They took out weather effects D: for the newest)
