Minecraft, but you can break your leg [BreakALeg v2.0] (Survival Mechanic) Minecraft Data Pack

If fall damage wasn't enough, you can now break your legs in Minecraft with this datapack!

Brace yourself for a true 'broken leg' experience, complete with a suite of effects to mimic the disorientation and debilitation of a real-life fall.

From crippling slowness to disorienting vision, this pack (hopefully) brings an immersive and fun challenge to your survival gameplay.

Falling from great heights will now yield consequences more severe than a simple health deduction!

***NEW***
Leg Injuries Mechanic Explained (As of BreakALeg v2.0, not seen in showcase video)

Minor Leg Injury

-Falling from a "minor" distance (when you take fall damage from less 6 blocks) will apply a slowing effect lasting for 1 second.

Medium Leg Injury
-Falling from a "medium" distance (more than ~6 blocks, less than ~15) will apply a slowing effect and prevent you from jumping for 30 seconds. If you have Feather Falling III, this is reduced to 15s

Major Leg Injury
-Falling from a "major" distance (more than ~15 blocks, taking near-lethal damage but not dying) will apply a slowing effect and prevent you from jumping for an infinite amount of time, unless you die or use a Splint.

Feather Falling
-Boots with any Feather Falling enchantment will stop Minor Leg Injuries from occurring.

-Leg injury severity scales based on the level of Feather Falling you have. For example, if you fall from a "medium" distance with Feather Falling III, the Medium Leg Injury effects will only last for 15s rather than 30s.

-Feather Falling IV allows you to become immune to any leg injuries (I may need to expand upon this)

-Any additional fall damage taken while having a broken leg is determined based on your Feather Falling level (excluding IV). So if you fall again while your leg's broken, it'll hurt even more!

Splint Crafting Recipe
Splint crafting recipe

Once you have the splint in your main hand, simply Sneak and your leg's fixed!

Feather Falling IV boots are the only boots that will prevent your legs from breaking!

And that's all there is to it! Enjoy!

Installation
1. Download the ZIP file
2. Right click on the ZIP file and click "Extract all"
3. Drag the newly extracted file to your datapacks folder.
4. When in game, do /reload to verify the datapack is running. There should be a message indicating this.
5. To uninstall, do /function legbreak:uninstall then remove/delete "Break-A-Leg v1.x" from your datapacks folder.

Author notes:
This is my first datapack EVER, so if there any issues please feel free to let me know in the comments and I'll try my best to fix them.

All this datapack does is add some objectives to track the player's fall distance, previous and current health, then if certain criteria's are met, it applies a slow, blindness and jump boost effect to the player.

Lmk if you have any suggestions as well

Compatibility:
Tested in 1.19 and 1.20, but should be compatible with similar/recent versions.

Doesn't require a resource pack, doesn't change the game in any way that would hinder multiplayer so I'm assuming it'll be compatible for a Realms world.

I haven't tested for compatibility with other datapacks yet, but let me know if there are any issues. I'm assuming it should be compatible with most things, as long as it doesn't conflict with the crafting recipe.

Todo:

-Fix bugs
-Add configuration menu
-Add more injury mechanics (probably combine them all into one pack)
-Add resource pack for items
