RELOAD YOUR GAME USING /RELOAD AS SOON AS YOU CREATE YOUR WORLD. THIS WILL SPAWN IN THE STRUCTURES.

Survival Expansion is a datapack where it's main goal is to add more steps to reach the end. You must explore your world and find 4 new items used in crafting recipes which all lead to the ender key.

Here's some of what's been added
  • 2 new dimensions, the havens and the dreadlands
  • 3 new structures
  • Various new items
  • 1 new boss
  • Haven Altar Crafting Station
  • Custom portals to the dimensions
  • Illusioners spawning in a new structure
  • 4 new biomes (In dimensions)
The Haven Altar is used to combine the items you find along your journey which are all ingredients to the ender key. If you attempt to enter the end without an ender key, there will be consequences.

how do i remove the datapack? i tried disabling it ingame and now the server refuses to turn on. But I needed to disable it because it killed anyone who tried to enter the end portal.

It's supposed to do that. You need a specific item to enter the end.

There's no other way to make a datapack with better generation.

1.18.1 was also very unstable and would crash at times

Unfortunately not, 1.18.2 made a very minor change that breaks the whole datapack if not addressed.
