    ~~~Mining Helmet Datapack by Taku~~~



    You have no longer to worry about craft 80 stacks of torches when you are going to mine. This datapack adds a mining helmet, when you use it it will grant you the night vision effect, you can enchant the helmet, repair it with gold and the best part... It is Multiplayer Friendly!


    -Optifine is required to display the helmet texture on your head, the resource pack will only display the texture for the item

    -After joining your world use the command /reload

    -For 21w12a or lower versions, night vision effect will be applied whe you are using the helmet
    -From 21w13a snapshot onwards, it'll be Dynamic Lightning!     (This 2.0 version could be kinda laggy for multiplayer, i will be updating both versions)



    Installation:
    Once you have extracted all files from "Mining Helmet Datapack by Taku.zip", place "Mining Helmet Resourcepack.zip" inside the resourcepack folder, and place "Mining Helmet" folder inside the "datapacks" folder inside your world folder.



    Give Command:

    /function mining_helmet:recipes/items/miners_helmet

    Can you make it where you can merge it with other helmets? then we can have protection, and night vision. or at least make different types of the helmet like dia mining helmet, and they will have protection. with just the helmet on, there is no protection. pls respond.

    i can, but for now you can use my Basic Smithing Datapack, so you can make it of iron, diamond and netherite

    The resource pack you linked it out of date so it shows as a gold helmet even with Optifine for 1.16.1 aside from the missing texture the helmet works as intended
