More Totems [v1.1]
Disclaimer: This is a datapack and not a mod. That means the custom items are solely a different texture on the normal Totem of Undying through a resourcepack. The functionality resides in the datapack folder. A lot is possible through datapacks, but the undying part of the totems is uneditable. Furthermore, this was and still is a passion project. I am not able to update the pack or reply to comments with regularity. I aspire to rework this as a mod in the future. Nevertheless, thank you all for the support!
This datapacks adds 15 new Totems of Undying to your Minecraft world. As these are based on the normal Totem of Undying, they revive the player after taking fatal damage. However, each of the 15 new totems have different active and passive effects as opposed to the normal one. Active means the effects the player receives after activation of the totem after 'dying'; Passive means the effects/skills the player has while holding the totem in the offhand. See the list below for a full list of all effects, rarity and loot table per totem.
*The current loot tables are up for debate. All totems have a 1/5 chance to drop inside a chest. All treasure chests of all biomes and dimensions can drop any totem, but only one totem at a time. Common has a 70% chance, uncommon 25% and rare 5%. If the player chooses to have a bonus chest while creating a new world, it will always contain a totem.
- Place the folder out of the .zip file into your 'datapacks' folder of the desired world.
- Type: /datapacks list to check if the datapack is correctly installed.
- Reload your world to fully initiate the datapack with: /reload.
- Start exploring and find new totems of undying!

Throw potions further with a firey trail. | Gain Regeneration II and Resistance II for 45 seconds. Gain Saturation II, if present in the Overworld. Gain Fire Resistance II for 45 seconds, if present in the Nether. - While in Creative Mode, type /function moretotems:required/get_totems to receive all 15 totems of undying and try them out!
Known issues
- A befriended Enderman continues to get angry. This either is a coding issue or a Minecraft bug. (Technical: The AngerTime tag and AngryAt tag NBT data of a tagged Enderman is cleared/replaced every game tick. This does not seem to remove the anger status of that Enderman.)
- Holding two Totems of Undying in each hand and dying will consume the right totem but applies the wrong effects.
- Place the folder out of the .zip file into your 'datapacks' folder of the desired world.

- Reload your world to fully initiate the datapack with: /reload.
- Start exploring and find new totems of undying!

- Drop rates tweaked.
- Fixed an issue with using the Spider of Undying, mobs on half blocks now get webbed accordingly.
- The Enderman of Undying now teleports you interdimensionally to your spawnpoint as well.
- New totem planned for inplementation: Dark Totem of Undying. Does not have any custom effects or loot tables as of yet.

I may have encountered a bug with the steve totem. You get instead of armour fully repaired leather armour. (I tried it with gold and diamond)
Another bug is with the wither totem.
After death you and all entities knocked up very (min 30 blocks) in the air and then you die because of fall damage.
