DESCRIPTION
Minecraft can be boring while being alone in your single player worlds. With This data/resource pack, you can summon yourself a Kin to help you out in your adventures and just hanging out at the base/home.
With this 1.18.2 Minecraft datapack, you can summon up to 52 little players* into your minecraft world to play along side with, fight hostile mobs, trade gold for items they find and go on explorations in your boat or mine-cart.
NOTE
This is the Alpha release build of this datapack, so bugs may appear,
Please do report any findings and I'll do my best to fix them or make a patch.

To have your own names, you will have to edit the resource-pack.
Within assets > minecraft > optifine > random > entity > piglin > (piglin.properties)
Within the properties file will list all the kin names I created. Select one that you want to change and remember the number (For example; names 2 - 27 is the Girl names A - Z, while 28 - 53 is the Boys names).
After that, while in game, after you summon your kin with the new name, the old name will still exist until you nametag your kin with the new name. If you don't want to have to do that every time, you will need to edit some of the datapack code. To do that, continue below.
(I hope I explained this good enough X3)
OPTIONAL...
Optionally If you want the datapack to show the same name you want to change, you will have to do the following.
Using [Visual Studio Code] you can edit the files below... (Watch THIS VIDEO to set up VSC for editing minecraft datapacks)
When you are ready, do the following
For example lets change a boys name.
PART ONE
1. Go to the boy folder, and select 'anddrahsn.mcfuntion'
2 Select the name and you will see it appears 3 times.
3. hit ctrl+f, to open the finder editing window and click the arrow on the left
4. The arrow when clicked will show a 'Replace' text tool.
5. Put in "Andy" instead of having it be "Anddrahsn" for the new name.
6. Click the icon on the far right of the window to replace all 3 names to the new one.
7. hit save (Ctrl+S) and you are DONE there.
PART TWO
5. Navigate down to 's_list_tellraw.mcfunction'
6. Insides, scroll down to line 58
7. Change "Anddrahsn" to "Andy"
8. Save
PART THREE
9. Go to death_message folder
10. open 'b1_dm.mcfunction'
11. change the names 2 times to the new name
12. Save
(I believe that is all the code you will need to change for each kin you want to change)
Note: You do not need to change the name of the mcfunction files, for their new names to match, only the code within needs to change, though feel free to do so if you know what you are doing, other wise I recommend to not.
Lastly you can not add your own kin than the 52 kin, unless you edit the datapack and all the files needed to run.
TLDR: only edit the code, not file names, and you can only edit the pre-existing 52 kin names.
edit: I found out now. I was just being dumb and not reading the instructions correctly -_- but im having problems with the model still looking like a piglin
If you do not have optifine here is a link: Optifine 1.18.2
If that's not it, please let me know.
Note: I will be making a tutorial video on how to upload your skins to the resource pack here shortly today.
