New in Town Official Aesthetic Structures Add-on Pack Minecraft Data Pack

Ready to move in?

This is an add-on structure pack for the original New in Town settler's experience data pack. You must have that data pack installed in order to use this one and build these structures.

The Official Aesthetic Add-on provides a collection of structures for you to add to your settlement to space things out and pretty it up with non-functional beautification plots. Whether you want to build a large park in your town, or plan to have a sprawling kingdom of somewhat separated districts, this pack will help you do that while keeping in the vein of the original New in Town construction methods.

Also included is the Tyrant's Prison, a planned structure for End Cities that was cut from the base New in Town pack, out of concern that having an immortal Wither in one's End City would get to be annoying. However, if you choose to construct this expensive roof piece, you will find that it yields great rewards; once each overworld day, a Nether Star will be extracted from the Tyrant, resting on his pedestal for you to collect. This recipe does not use a Tyrant Locus, but instead, requires the Piece of Infinity unique music disc found in New in Town, as was originally planned.

The Aesthetic New in Town Add-on features the following:
  • 5 full-plot town structures that do not require Building Permits
  • 4 unidirectional road/bridge structures that do not require Building Permits
  • 1 previously-cut End City structure, utilizing the included-but-unused unique music disc, the Piece of Infinity
  • Recipes provided through advancements
  • Room to grow; more aesthetic structures may be added in the future

We have a Discord!
Our growing community now has a Discord server, where you are free to discuss with other New in Town players about all things Minecraft, report bugs, and share suggestions for the future of the settler's experience! Come take a look!

Hey i like this data pack, but i just have one question.

I died with all the tyranical heart in the inventar, so i can't buld anything in the endermans new home.
Is there anything i can do, to get some new tyranical heart.
I know if i will build the Kings Throne Room i can buy tyranical heart there, but i need one to build the room.
so i don't know what to do...

Tyrannical Hearts are a somewhat useless item dropped by the Nether mobs, I assume you are actually referring to the Tyrant Locus items obtained during the invasion.

Unfortunately they are designed to be in limited supply, so protecting what little you have until building the Throne Room is critical. With that said, if you're okay with cheating, there is a Tyrant Locus in the devbox which you can obtain with this command.

I'm sorry, but I got another question..

I wanted to build the Castle, but i can't build it, idk what i did wrong..

I built the Castle Frame, and the Castle Entry and after that, nothing works.
I already checked if there's the right number of items, or if there's the right items, and it is..

Is there something i have to do? Or i forgot to do?

Thanks in advance.

Castle Wing recipes only work in Castle Planners. When you built the Castle Entry, you put that recipe in the planner that was in the middle of your Castle Frame. You have 6 Castle Permits with which to build Castle Frames.

As the recipe book says, you should build all 6 of your Castle Frames to lay out the footprint of your Castle, then upgrade each wing by putting the wing recipes in the 6 Castle Planners. You can still do this, but the wings adjacent to your entry won't fully connect on their own, so you'll need to break and place some block yourself.
