Why?:
1. Ruined Portals can ruin early game progression.(Not important for me)
2. Ruined Portals can look very unharmonicaly and flaw the look of a beautiful landscape.
Overall, of course, it is up to your preferences whether you want to have ruined portals or not in your world.
