Minecraft: Not The Bees!
Description:
1.19.2 Datapack
Bees BEES BEEESS! everywhere!
every 1 minute bees will spawn, killing bees rewards with OP end city loot.
Your objective SURVIVE!
kill all the bees, there is 10 tiers of waves, eventually the BEES WILL SWARM YOU!
there are 4 bees:
normal- angry bee
strong - more attack
digger - digs blocks!
Mega Bee - 100hp boss bee doesnt die after stinging!
warning:
Digger bee will destroy your world, please use on a world you dont value!
killing bees makes the bees harder! and come back with more BEES!

the typo worked on my testing world due to already including the main scoreboard functions.
i mised the entity kill tracker which revovled around the spawning and loot distribution.
im already testing it mass scale with a 100 player server, the performece was good, the item lag due to over flow from the killing of bees was not prefferable.
i can change the loot pool to drop only 1 item per bee from a selected pool.
Change Attribute to run of data modify UUID[​0]-[​9] depending on entity amount
didnt have much time to fully implement all features
features as following:
wave countdown timer
reset button
stop button
start button
entity tracker
add ability to cap entity spawning by merging live data to scoreboard
but the follwing pack released is also a test, if the pack does well i will focus my efforts, before dedicating alot of time into something not worth while
thank you for the feedback my small group on discord already pointed out the problems after i just released.
the reason being is NBT tags, name tags and custom enetity triggers and UUID's are all fairly different but all fall under the exception that they put stress on ticks.
for example if you had a data pack checking for items to clear lag, checking all entities at once can cause not so noticeable but a small amount of lag, and then adding complex variables and checks using the MCFUNCTION will only go so far.
the limitation of a datapack is dependant on its purpose, for singleplayer datapacks, simple UI's , Custom GUI's and simeple function or ONE BLOCK function are okay.
but when you get down to heavy performing tasks which requires alot of itteration of functions will stress out the game, thats when you can switch to a plugin.
plugins allow libraries which boost performence by a method called "reflection", also commonly known in other forms in games such as .dll files (dynamic link libraries) this takes a load of the games engine, and we all know that java isnt the best perofming engine out there but with .APIs in plugins we can use it with servers that directly modify NBT's , which is what most anti-lag projects are made on.
the idea is the scope of your project, my pack is deisnged for singleplayer giggles, nothing serious but for bigger scopes like custom GUI's , interfacing, RNG loot crates and other similar information systems like that, plugins provide better support and is more aimed at small servers for friends that run on spigot or paper or craft bukkit.
i do appreciate the advice on datapacks about relasing when something isnt done but do keep in mind that projects do have a percentage completed, but between making minecraft mods, plugins, datapacks and other various projects out side the scope of minecraft, i only get to release things here and there.
