    O'l West - Wild West Datapack adds the two most iconic cowboy weapons. The revolver and the Winchester rifle!

    Hi, I have a problem when I try to shoot, I take te correct weapons and munitions in hand and offhand but it just give me an arrow when I shoot..

    Ok, so, before it was an issue with not being able to GET the guns, but now it's an issue with USING them... It acts like a crossbow and charges up, but then instead of being ready to fire, it just gives me an arrow and then doesn't work... What's up with this thing, man? I'm really exited to use it but it just doesn't work!

    you need to hold the correct ammo in your offhand, for the winchester, you need to hold the bullets and for the revolver you need to hold the clip.

    same issue here as everyone else, knowledge books for the guns do not seem to fuction properly and do not give a custom item. clips and bullets do work though so it's only a problem with the guns being unobtainable.

    not even running /fuction ol_west:give/winchester or /fuction ol_west:give/revolver manually works. it does for bullets and clips again

    I fixed it for you, in the give folder, the winchester.mcfuntion and the revolver.mcfunction have a give command with "hellogaming" as target instead of an @s target, while the bullet and clip give functions do target @s. That's probably why when you test if it works it still worked for you but not for anyone else since I'm guessing hellogaming is your mc username! should be a simple fix

    Yeah, I followed the recipes exactly, with stripped spruce wood also (not logs), and the ammo recipes work, but the guns take the resources and don't give you anything...

    I have been unable to recreate this crafting bug, are you sure you have used stripped spruce wood
    and not stripped spruce logs?

    I placed the folder in my datapack folder of my world and the command i did was, "/function ol_west:items/craft/revolver" aswell with the "/function ol_west:give/revolver", just says it executed some commands but did not gave me the items.

    i cant get the guns out of the crafting table when i try to drag it into my inventory it dissapers the clip/bullet work fine but the guns dont

    Try clearing your recipe advancements with the command /advancement revoke @s only ol_west:items/(item)
    as well as your recipes with /recipe take @s ol_west:(item), I'll create a patch to fix this particular issue soon. Should this solution not work, please leave another comment.
