    Hey, wonder if you could also add a function that prevents farmland from turning back into dirt. It would be very nice if you'd add it because i searched almost everywhere on iternet and i hadn't found anything about it. Thanks.

    That's called water! no need for a mod or data pack, its vanilla! you can pick it up by crafting a bucket and right clicking on a water source, then you can place it near the farmland and wow, it doesn't turn to grass (this is a joke)
