    How to install Minecraft Data Packs

    This datapack will rain on your world of chests with default Minecraft loots but also completely random loots ranging from 15 blocks of dirts to 5 blocks of netherite (as an example).

    The default chests spawn rate is 1 chest per player per second but you cant change it using the /scoreboard players set $Delay awor_rach XX command by replacing XX with the number of ticks you want between 2 chests spawn (1 second = 20 ticks).

    Then you're either not OP (or commands are disabled) or you're playing in a way too old version of Minecraft.

    I am in the midst of updating this datapack (which is really just rewriting the loot tables). I figured out how the loot table for the chests work(a pool of random items from every item in the game), but I have to ask, because so many things have been added to the game since 1.16, how did you get a list of all items ID's? It seems like so much to do write manually, but I cannot find a repository or list in the game files which contain all of the item IDs.



    Also, it's just for personal use for me.

    Hi, updating the loot table is enough however I would also optimize the code if I ever would update it. It's been 3 years and many things in the way it works can now be optimized with new functionalities.
    Then about the items list, I use this GitHub repository which lists, among other things, all the items and blocks in separated lists for each version: github.com/PixiGeko/Minecraft-generated-data/tree/master/
    Finally, updating my packs is fine as long as this is for personal use and that the updated version is not distributed.

    Hi, I finally saw this today. I ended up using a /give command generator's database of IDs to update the loot tables, and removed the need for an armor stand and replaced it with the new block display entity, which reduced the number of functions needed as well as got rid of lag when lots of chests are spawned in, so thanks for the help.
    And as I mentioned, this pack wont be shared with anyone.

    Hi there! Can you please made this datapack to 1.20 if u can or tell me how I will do it myself (if that's what I want purely for myself). I tried to do it myself, but no matter how much I tried, I couldn't (.Or maybe I need to fix one command there. I added all the things 1.20 there, and then I don't know what to do, just all the chests are empty
