First of all, what is the difference between the different icy totems? Do they last for less time? Do they grant less protection?
There seems to be new a new difference between netherite and netherite alloy introduced, which is cool, but its not really clear to me what the difference is. Is it just that you don't burn in the nether when using full real netherite? I understood that there is also something with netherite alloy burning in fire slowly and real netherite not burning, but again, it's not quite clear to me.
There are a lot of cool features in this that I really wanna use, but it's all a bit unclear, like the comments below me have already stated. I suggest adding a more detailed features list in the description which explains all the stuff that is complicated. (Maybe structure it so that the first thing you say is that you always burn in the nether, since that is supposedly the main point and every other thing only makes sense if you know this.)
I like the concept and the datapack probably is really cool, but please give offer a clearer explanation.
Making a lesser version of an icy totem will allow you to make it to the Nether safely, i.e. Icy Soul and Frozen Spirit
I have mixed feelings about this but the concept is interesting but not so much in the execution of the process. Netherite is fine as it is but having a weaker version of it is a nice touch. The furnace design feels over kill and doesn’t make much sense in the way. And the Oder of things looks and feels too confusing. But I love the idea and the code of how you did things.
Rating 7/10
The Netherite Forge (I assume that's what you're talking about) gives a better return on your Ancient Debris than a normal furnace does.
1-3 scrap per debris
1-3 nugget per scrap
