The ability to add recipes to the Smithing Table is probably more OP then Mojang thought...

For those who don't know, the Smithing Table works by transferring NBT data to a newly crafted item. Furthermore, the Smithing Table is unbiased. It just doesn't care what attributes go to the item.

These are just some of the things a Smithing Table can do:
- Transfer equipment info to other equipment using books. (See vid for details. Also see my Arcane Smithing pack.)
- Transfer a shield pattern to a banner.
- Change a banner's background color.
- Turn iron armor into chainmail armor using chains. (Similar to netherite armor recipes.)
- Add gunpowder or Dragons Breath to ANY potion.
- Turn any potion back into a drinkable potion using empty bottles.
- Make signed books writable again with feathers.
