Required Resource Pack
279
This adds the Rings of Power from Lord of the Rings to Minecraft!
I am also hosting a server with this data pack, along with some others! I'd be grateful if you could join! The server includes dungeons, trading, and a modified survival experience, designed to provide a challenge! To join, visit this page: www.planetminecraft.com/server/rings-smp/
You need the accompanying resource pack.
Currently, the only way to get the rings is to do /function rop:ring/give_all
The rings have a lot of powers. Crouch while holding a ring in the mainhand to select a power. This varies according to the ring. Once a power is selected, simply use (default is right click) the ring from either hand.
The rings may also give separate effects when used from the offhand.
Also, the Nine Rings and the One Ring will slowly turn players into a wraith.
The One Ring also has a "Precious" effect, which makes players start seeing voices in their heads, mostly when the Ring isn't with them.
The first person to hold the One Ring in their mainhand will be bound to it as its master, and is thus immune to the Precious effect and the Ringwraith effect.

First place the block on the ground, then look in the direction of the block, then right click with the ring, and the block should duplicate.
Sometimes you have to change the angle around till you get it to work.
You see, I used the colours and shades from the actual ingots from the files of Minecraft, and I suppose CreeperMagnet might have done the same, to provide the vanilla feel.
Also, if you take a closer look at the shading, it's actually very different - only the shape and shades are the same.
The shape is a circle, which is a very obvious shape for rings.
The shades are from the files of Minecraft itself, and also they're just hex-codes, you can't own a hex-code can you?
Made a quick picture illustrating the similarities and differences:
I hope you understand
