Scoria - A Sponge for Lava
Scoria is a sponge made for lava! In the video provided, I show off one* of the ways you can obtain Molten Scoria, the other of which is finding it in a Treasure Bastion's chest*2. Molten Scoria itself cannot be used for lava clearing, though, it can be turned back into Scoria by tossing it with 8 ice on the ground or by placing it in snowy biomes! This sponge can be used to clear out lava 2 blocks out from it in each direction (a 5x5x5 area). Scoria must be making direct contact with lava to clear it.
Scoria itself is a real volcanic rock, which is one of the reasons I chose it. The other two being that it looks sponge-like and has a cool sounding name.
*Piglin Brutes drop Molten Scoria 60% of the time
*2Treasure Bastions main loot chests will have at least one Molten Scoria in it 12.5% of the time
