Got a video of what it looks like? I am trying to find a BOTW-like shooting star effect that can only happen at night, has a horizontal arc (like how thrown snowballs or thrown enderpearls have) rather than just dropping straight down like a rock, and maybe have some reward for going to them if they crash land.



The reason I want a mod like that is because I'm looking to make the night sky more interesting to look at and to give players a reason to not skip the night/reward them more for braving the night. This datapack seems the closest to what I am after, but if doesn't have a horizontal arc, it might fail in the purpose I need it for (to make the night look pretty and such).

could there be a little sound effect thrown in there to let you know a star is falling. Love the utilization of particles looks great.

So is the event per player or is it a general world timer based event? I’m also learning to make datapacks so I’m just trying to understand how it works
