    Magic Protection
Works the same as other specialized protection enchantments, but for status effects. Armor and shield enchantment, maximum level of X.
Incompatible with Protection, Fire Protection, Blast Protection, Projectile Protection, Melee Protection, and Lifeforce.

    Melee Protection
Works the same as other specialized protection enchantments, but for melee attacks. Armor and shield enchantment, maximum level of X.
Incompatible with Protection, Fire Protection, Blast Protection, Projectile Protection, Magic Protection, and Lifeforce.

    Changes to existing enchantments:

General changes to most enchantments maximizing at level IV or V:
Maximum level increased to X. This applies to Bane of Arthropods, Blast Protection, Density, Efficiency, Fire Protection, Impaling, Piercing, Power, Projectile Protection, Protection, Sharpness, and Smite. Most of these enchantments have not had any further changes, including level scaling; this means getting to level X on most if not all of these enchantments is impossible in Survival mode due to anvil price scaling. You also cannot get these enchantments from villager trading anymore (except on Villager Trade Rebalance, which I won't bother to fix the interaction with because no one uses that in real gameplay).

    Protection
Armor and shield enchantment, maximum level of X.
Each level is half as effective as in vanilla; a maximum of 80% protection from all damage sources is achievable through standard Protection, if you somehow manage to get level X on all four pieces (I don't think it's possible to do this though).

    Impaling
Trident enchantment, maximum level of X.
Now applies extra damage to all mobs touching water or in the rain, consistent with Bedrock Edition.

    Sharpness
Sword enchantment, maximum level of X. Can also be applied to axes via anvil.
Now increases damage by 1.25 per level, matching Bedrock Edition as well as pre-1.9 Java Edition.

    Other specialized protections
Maximum level is now X. Still as effective as usual; this means you can actually cap specialized protections with just two armor pieces (or even just one if you manage to actually reach level X, which I don't think is possible). Can also now be applied to shields.

    Mending
Treasure durability enchantment, maximum level of IV.
Modified from vanilla; level IV has the same effect as the vanilla enchantment but is much more difficult to acquire, as Mending can no longer be traded from librarian villagers.
Lower levels have a proportionally lower effect.
Incompatible with Unbreakable, Infinity, and Endless Quiver.

NOTE: I AM NOT THE DEVELOPER, SO MY INFO MAY NOT BE ACCURATE.

I have been able to find several Unbreakable and Mending books in ruined portals, underwater ruins and abandoned mineshafts. The Mending and Unbreakable enchantments are un-tradable via librarian villagers according to my observations. Since the aforementioned enchantments are considered "treasure enchantments", you should still be able to get them by fishing.

yes, i would have preferred not doing that but villager trades aren't customizable enough to prevent leaving those enchantments in being blatantly overpowered (since villagers can sell all the way up to the max level and the pack isn't balanced around actually being able to reach the max level of the level 10 enchantments)

i cannot, even if it weren't for the fact that the current version doesn't even support the versions the old versions of the pack were for, the functionality required to make the pack work at all didn't exist until the first non-experimental 1.21 snapshots.
