How to install Minecraft Data Packs

You used to be able to mine spawners, but now you cant. So this datapack allows you to mine entity spawners with a pickaxe as long as it has the "Silk Touch" enchantment. The spawner will keep it's spawn data (The mob that spawns from that spawner) when placed. This datapack is great for servers, realms, or just single player worlds!

Im testing this datapack, and I have a suggestion:

- Change the "pack_format" from 1 to 6 (To be loaded well in 1.16To be loaded well in 1.16To be loaded well in 1.16) in pack.mcmeta
- Add suport to Netherite pickaxe with silk touch in /data/silk_touch_spawners/functions/spawner/destroy/ with:
execute if entity @p[​scores={SS_MinedSpawner=1..},distance=..7,nbt={SelectedItem:{id:"minecraft:netherite_pickaxe",tag:{Enchantments:-[{id:"minecraft:silk_touch"}]}}}] run function silk_touch_spawners:spawner/destroy/drop

works in single player in 20w19a fabric but not in multiplayer w fabric. any ideas why?

Hi! I love this pack... but it still doesnt seem to work properly in 1.16 snaspshots. It works fine when using a diamond piuck, but completely breaks when using a netherite pick. Is there a fix coming for that?

For some reason, my PC hasn't gotten the 1.16 snapshot yet. I've looked in my AppData files and couldn't find it anywhere. So I will fix it once the official 1.16 update comes out. But thanks for telling me about this bug! =)

you need to go into the minecraft launcher, go to the installations tab and click the checkbox that says snapshots to be able to see snapshots.
