Wooden Boomerang:
This datapack adds wooden boomerangs from Terraria into your world.
Boomerang sprite was heavily inspired by the official Terraria wooden boomerang sprite, with the shading being a bit more Minecraft-style.
**This pack has not yet been tested/may not work properly in multiplayer, more info below**
**Don't forget to /reload before using, some scoreboards may act weirdly otherwise**
Features:
- Smooth-looking boomerang rotation
- Easy crafting
- Simple enchantments
- Serves as an early-game hunting weapon
Crafting
Craft the boomerang with the following recipe:
100
200
221
0 = Nothing/Empty
1 = Leather
2 = Stick
The output will be a knowledge book - take it and you will receive the boomerang.
How to Use
Right click with the boomerang in your main hand to throw it.
It will always return to you unless it hits a block. If it does, it will drop and you can pick it up.
Boomerangs will also pick up any dropped items they pass through and carry them to the player they return to.
It does some extra damage to certain animals you would hunt for food, such as cows, chickens and rabbits.
The boomerang does about a stone sword's worth of damage to other mobs.
Enchanting
Throw a boomerang on an enchantment table with 20 experience levels to enchant it.
The boomerang will receive one or more of the following enchantments:
Reach: Increases how far the boomerang travels
Blaze: Sets mobs on fire
Velocity: Increases the speed of the boomerang
Blaze and Reach are mutually exclusive.
Thank You!
I hope you enjoy this datapack, its the first one I have made.
Thanks so much to Timber Forge for their great tutorial on custom crafting, link to YouTube channel below:

Don't hesitate to post a comment if you find any bugs or anything like that. This datapack has not been tested in multiplayer, but I assume that boomerangs would simply "return" to the nearest player, regardless of who threw the boomerang (the "return" armor stand moves towards @p). If anyone finds solutions to any multiplayer-related problems, I would love to hear them.
