Soul Anchors V1.2
This datapack adds simple chunkloaders to Minecraft!
What is a Soul Anchor?
A Soul Anchor is a structure that allows you to keep a chunk permanently loaded, even if you aren't there!- To create a Soul Anchor, place a lit soul campfire and throw a bone on top of it.
- To destroy a Soul Anchor, break it's campfire block.
- If a Soul Anchor's fire is put out, but the campfire block remains, a Soul Anchor will be temporarily disabled. Re-light it to enable it again.
- Only one Soul Anchor may be placed per chunk. Attempting to create a second one within the same chunk will fail with a sound effect and failure message.
Installation
- Copy the .zip file into the world/datapacks folder of your minecraft save
- Close and reopen the world, or in multiplayer use /reload
Notes
- This data pack is compatible with multiplayer.

Would be nice though that it was still an anchor even if it is not lit.
So when you set fire to it it will be active again without the use of bone.
Cuz i want to place the and easily turn them on and of and i don't want to carry bones everywhere. Almost never use bones they go directly to the grinder :)
Would also be awesome have like a brother datapack (or just add one more thing in this pack) where you have a redstone powered anchor so you just turn on the farm and then the anchor is active to. For example if you use a dropper into the end portal to get it reload the obsidian. That could maybe be the loadstone or something and it will switch color if it is powered so you know it is active.
And if it is not already in the data pack there would be great with a list of all activ anchors with dimension and coordinates so server admin can easily find them and destroy them if it gets out of hand :)

I can make it so that putting out the fire just unloads the chunks but doesn't destroy the structure, that should be pretty easy. And if we do that, you can automatically turn a soul anchor on/off by putting out the fire or starting it with 2 dispensers (water bucket or flint & steel.). Then you can just use redstone to activate those dispensers to toggle the state of the anchor.
I can also write a quick function that when run by an admin will spit out a list of all the currently loaded soul anchors with the right data.

Yeah that could work do i need to pulse dispenser with water two times or is it enough with one will the water go back in the same pulse then?
