For Minecraft 1.17 - 1.20!

The Download link will redirect you to an adfoc.us page. It is an easy way for me to make money off my data packs.
Make sure to click the skip button that appears in the top right corner after 5 seconds.
On Modrinth click on the Versions tab and download the latest version.

Features:
Hostile mobs dig out of the ground or poof into existence when they spawn.

Works with:
Zombies, Husks, Drowned, Skeletons, Strays, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Creepers, Slimes, Magma Cubes, Wither Skeletons, Hoglins, Zombified Piglins, Striders, Enderman and Giants.

This data pack is designed to be as unintrusive as possible. Hidden entities including their worn armor and tools will only be invisible and silent.

It is completely server-side!

To check for updates, use/trigger tschipcraft.menuand hit the Check for Updates button. There is also a Reset and an Uninstall button.

What will this do to mob farms? No interference?

Well, at least there shouldn't be interference, since the mobs only receive the invisibility effect, but there are some problems in the current version, which I plan to fix.

Edit: Fixed in v1.9.2

love this mod but i am having an issue where it is allowing mobs to spawn in daylight every so often, can this bug be patched. Thank you

That happens because I configured this data pack so that mobs dig up when taking damage including burning in daylight. I did this so that the player witnesses the death and with that the reason for appearing loot.
So the mobs you are seeing here already existing beforehand and just spawned in to show their final moments

does this apply to creepers and spiders? these are the mobs we are encountering the most issues with spawning in day. the zombies i see your point as they do perish but i'm not sure why the game decided to spawn creepers in day.

Maybe they just didn't play their animation in the night, since no players were near and didn't despawn yet? If you want the mobs to play the animation instantly when they spawn, set the activation distance to a high number (available via /function spawnanimations:settings)
