Enhance your world this month with this spooky datapack!
This datapack adds two pumpkin robots, as well as new items!
FEATURES
Blast o'Lantern
This is one of the Gourdbots, and is a mini bossfight you can have! To create it, throw a redstone block, iron ingot, soul sand, and a blaze powder on a carved pumpkin.
The Blast o'Lantern hovers in the air with its thruster, and charges to shoot a powerful laser beam every 15 seconds, which deals the Wither effect to you, and can destroy any block. Once you manage to kill it, you're probably not gonna last very long unless you have good armor, because it will explode immediately... but with a nice reward in return! It'll drop a Blast o'Lantern Mask, which you can wear for your Minecraft Halloween party! If you wear the mask while you have at least one blaze powder in your inventory, the mask will light up, giving you night vision.
Grazeling
Grazelings are small, cute new companions you can have in your world! You can make one simply by dropping an iron ingot and redstone dust on a carved pumpkin. Then, you can place any button on the pumpkin and press it to activate your new friend!
Grazelings can fly with their propellers, and also gives every nearby player Slow Falling. You can put it on a lead as well, so you can nicely float down with one from quite literally anywhere and you'll survive!... unless the Grazeling gets destroyed. When a Grazeling is destroyed, it drops straight down all the way to the ground and causes an explosion with fire. You'll also lose your Slow Falling, so enjoy the experience of sky diving without a parachute.
Spider Hat
Got Arachnophobia? Ever wished that one stays on your head for as long as you want? Probably not, but screw it. I made it. The crafting recipe is in the video and in the image gallery.
Not only does the Spider Hat look pretty damn cool, but it also gives you a 15% speed boost when you're wearing it. Would be worth overcoming your fear if you ask me.
Soul Drawing
Last but certainly not the least, the Soul Drawing is an item you can find in nether fortresses. Shoutout to my friend Tuna Person for making the amazing art!
If you find one, definitely take it to somewhere safe because it's pretty nice. If you place it on a Glow Item Frame, mobs and players around it (specifically a radius of 15 blocks) will glow and get jump boost! Perhaps you can use it for getting to tall bases, or check if there's any dangerous mobs.
