My datapack for the Winterfest Community Event !
Boss Bear, Bear taming, Bear Breeding , i make polar bear more interesting :)
Give me some diamonds if you like pet bears or boss bear ;)
First, find a polar bear and, drop a salmon, it will become an Alpha, a Boss bear with special attacks.
Warning: During the boss fight, the Alpha bear can sometime destroy blocks.
Taming : Only Alpha can be tamed. Tame an Alpha when his bossbar is green with another salmon.
Crouch with a salmon in your hand to reveal the aura in a large radius of tamed bears and alpha bears. ( Green and Blue )
Breeding : if you feed 2 polars bear with many cod (drop it), a baby bear can be born if there is no other baby bear in a large radius.
If you drop salmon to a tamed bear, it will be heal. Small red particles warn that your pet bear lost half his life.
Crouch next too a tamed bear : it will stay here. Crouch a little further away and it will go.
If your pet bear don t follow you, throw him a snowball. Tamed bear makes harmless hugs !
Are you hearthless ? The less life an alpha has, the more dangerous it is, but if you kill the boss, you loot the polar boots. A new item.
That is my first event participation :)

* The animation of the claw slashing attack is fix and becomes clearer
* Tamed bear renamed 'Tiny' or 'Baby' no longer need an adult bear to interact with a player
* Tamed bear follow players more smoothly and no longer need to be provoked by a snowball
